Synthetic diamond powder:
Micron powders are diamond finer particles resulting from the crushing of coarser grades. Size and shape characterizations are the two most important characteristics of these particles:
1, Particle size distribution is crucial to ensure tool performance. It influences surface finish and material removal in most abrasive applications. Consistent shape of particles improves results obtained.
2, Crystal shape is a key element. Blocky particles with sharp cutting edges optimize material removal rate without causing severe damage or scratches on the surface treated due to oversized grains.
