Product Description

Spinning is a pressure forming and processing method to form thin-wall hollow rotary parts. It relies on the feed movement of rotary wheel or lever rod to add pressure to the metal blanks rotating along the same axis of core mold, thus making local plastic deformation to form required hollow.

We are the first domestic company which can adopt this process to produce thin-walled molybdenum crucibles.

Spinning molybdenum crucible is a thin-walled crucible made of a piece of molybdenum plate by adopting the spinning process. This process can be also used to produce large-size thin-walled crucibles.

Areas of Application

When molybdenum plate is processed by spinning and hot working process, its grains are extended under pressure, and its physical performance is further improved, which reduce material consumption under the same strength requirements. Spinning molybdenum crucibles have good resistance to high temperature creep. Also, because of the nature characteristics of molybdenum metal such as high melting point, high temperature strength, low pollution, corrosion resistance, large thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion coefficient, and good hardenability, spinning molybdenum crucibles are widely used in Sapphire crystal growth, rare-earth smelting, and coating industry as melting containers.
