Product Description
UsagePotassium formate is the potassium salt of formic acid. It is an intermediate in the formate potash process for the production of potassium. Potassium formate has also been studied as a potentialenvironmentally friendly deicing salt for use on roads.
It is widely used in construction as an anti-freezing additive to concrete and additive to the tile adhesives. Also it serves as coolant in industrial freezers and as deicing agent. Food industry finds its usage as a preserving agent and a substitute of salt (NaCl). Potassium formate are perfectly suitable for the most complicated drilling conditions and well reconstruction. Potassium formate solutions facilitate oil production at the same time decreasing operation costs.
