Shape and Properties:
99% Sodium Bromide is white cubic crystal or white fine grain, belongs to regular system, white specific gravity 3.203 and melting point of 755, 99% Sodium Bromide is free of small and tastes salty and slightly bitter. 99% Sodium Bromide absorb water easily and agglomerates in the air, but does not deliquesce. 99% Sodium Bromide dissolves easily in water but slightly in alcohol. Its water solution is neutral and has electoconductibility.
Application
Sodium Bromide is used for drilling/cementing liquid and making sensitive emulsion of photographic film and for making medicinal intermediates in medico-industries, e.g. diuretic, sedative etc. Sodium Bromide is also used as bromide making complex material and complex dyes.
