Product Description3A molecular sieveThe pore size of 3A molecular sieve is 3 Å . It does not adsorb any molecular larger than 3 Å. It is an alkali metal alumino-silicate, the potassium form of the typ A crystal structure. It will adsorb, in sequence of adsorption rate, helium, neon, nitrogen and water.
According to the industrial application specialties, we endue our products with the characters of higher adsorption speed, stronger crushing and anti-contaminative resistance, more cyclic times and longer work-span. Application:- Deep drying of gases and liquids, such as air, carbon dioxide, natural gas, coal gas, hydrogen gas, oxygen gas, refrigerants, solvent, etc;
- Purification of argon gas;
- Used as desiccant for polyurethane coatings and polymer systems;
- Static drying for drugs packaging, electronic components and perishable chemicals.
- Applied in dehydration of air conditioning system in automobile; Removal of moisture in the air brake system to avoid system blocking.
Regeneration:Molecular sieve can be regenerated by either heating in the case of thermal swing processes; or by lowering the pressure in the case of pressure swing processes.
To remove moisture from a molecular sieve, a temperature of 250-300°C is required. A properly regenerated molecular sieve can give moisture dew points below -100°C, or mercaptan or CO2 levels below 2 ppmv.
